What To Expect: Itinerary
Stop At: Leaning Tower of Pisa
Our driver will pick you up at your location (hotel, B&B or private apartment) and take you to Pisa for a 2-hour stop. In Pisa you will have time to admire and photograph the famous Leaning Tower, and the other monuments of the square including the Baptistery and the Cathedral. The Tower began to tilt during construction in the twelfth century, due to the soft terrain that could not properly support the weight of the structure, and worsened with the completion of construction in the fourteenth century. The structure was stabilized by restoration work between 1993 and 2001, which reduced the inclination to 3.97 degrees. Climbing up to the top of the leaning tower of Pisa is a unique experience and offers a beautiful view of the city. The base ticket if you want to climb the tower is 18 €.

Pass By: Parco Regionale delle Alpi Apuane
Later we will drive through the A11/A12 highway between Tuscany and Liguria for about 1 hrs passing near the beautiful Apuan Alps, (the Marble Mountains). Then we will pass through the city of La Spezia and its famous Gulf (Gulf of Poets) before to arrive at your destination to Cinque Terre park.
