Stop At: Porto Venere🌊🌅

Although not part of Cinque Terre, Portovenere is a gem at the entrance of the Gulf of La Spezia. Founded in Roman times, it played a key role in naval and defensive strategies for centuries. Its picturesque harbor, lined with brightly colored houses, and the Church of San Pietro, perched on a rocky promontory, are must-sees. Explore the medieval streets leading to the impressive Doria Castle, with views of Palmaria Island. Don’t miss Byron’s Cave, where the poet swam and found inspiration. A stroll through the vibrant main street reveals charming local craft shops.

Stop At: Riomaggiore🌊🌅 🌿

Famous for its colorful stone houses and a charming harbor filled with traditional fishing boats, Riomaggiore is one of the five villages of the Cinque Terre UNESCO Heritage Site. Originally founded in the 8th century by Greek refugees, the village we see today dates back to the 13th century. Nestled in a valley between two steep hills, its name derives from the stream Rivus Major, which runs beneath it. Historically, Riomaggiore thrived on wine and olive oil production, thanks to its terraced vineyards and orchards.

Stop At: Manarola🌊🌅 🌿

Manarola, the second village of Cinque Terre, is perched on a rock 70 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking sea views. Its colorful houses cascade down to a small harbor on the Ligurian Sea, making it one of the most photographed villages. Thought to be the oldest Cinque Terre village, it dates back to the 1300s and was built near a freshwater creek. Historically part of the Republic of Genoa, it once housed a castle and watchtower to guard against pirates. Manarola is also famous for Sciacchetrà, a sweet dessert wine.

Pass By: Corniglia 🌅 🏔️🌿

Corniglia, located 100 meters above sea level, is the only Cinque Terre village without sea access. Surrounded by vineyards and terraces on three sides, its architecture reflects its ancient Roman agricultural roots more than a coastal settlement. To reach Corniglia, visitors must climb 377 steps, rewarding them with incredible views and a peaceful ambiance

Stop At: Vernazza🌊🌅 🌿

Vernazza is the most iconic village of Cinque Terre, with its colorful harbor, medieval fortified castle, and stunning sea views. Inhabited since 1080 AD, it was once a maritime military base and a stronghold of the Republic of Genoa. Today, Vernazza thrives on tourism, fishing, and wine production, offering a perfect spot for lunch.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Monterosso al Mare🌊🌅 🌿

The largest of the five villages, Monterosso al Mare boasts beautiful beaches, clear waters, and terraced hills of lemons, olives, and vines. Split into the old town (Borgo Antico) and the new town (Fegina), it features medieval ruins, including three watchtowers that once defended against pirates. Monterosso is the only Cinque Terre village with a sandy beach, making it ideal for relaxation.

In Monterosso at 4:30 PM, your driver will meet you here for the return journey to your location.
